Director's Acknowledgements

A promenade production of Macbeth in Kents Cavern was based on my several years of experience in theatre [and caves!] but it takes a lot of commitment from many people to realise any such vision. I must particularly remember Shane who pushed me on when I wanted to write it off, Anthony who enabled it all to happen at Kents Cavern, and Aileen who ultimately became my trusted assistant director – her work on stage and off sparkled. Also, I must thank St. Bart’s School in Newbury for their support – their students did them proud! At Kents Cavern it was a blast that so many mates from the guides’ room joined the boss on stage – Suzie Bulley as both Fleance and ASM, others as various murderers, guests and courtiers. Also my brother-in-law Andrew, a cameraman and the doctor! Hopefully everyone involved is listed in the programme notes. (Also thanks to Darren Crossley, for such a great job on the website)
