Underground Stages Presents...

Shakespeare’s Macbeth in Kents Cavern caves! Yes it is possible, it can be done! The audience moved round the caves taking part in an interactive promenade production, ultimately becoming Birnam Wood moving to Dunsinane! Though now over 15 years ago, both the original gig and the subsequent revival remain very special memories for so many people involved – professionals, amateurs and members of the local community. Little did we realise that nearly 2 years' graft refining the idea would nearly be forgotten and almost lost to posterity.
